Whenever I give a tour of my studio, I always pause and stand in one certain area of my studio. It's my black wall. I always tell people it's my favorite spot in my studio - and it really is.
Starting out in photography, we shot some film and some digital in high school, but when I graduated and went to college, we were shooting all black and white film and processing it and printing in the dark room.
Man - I miss those days. But, because of all the hours I spent in the dark room and working with that black and white film, I really have a deep LOVE for black and white images. I just love how focused they are on the subject you are photographing and how, ho matter what you're wearing or how you're styled, they are simply timeless.
