I'm honored to have been asked to participate in this years Blue Jeans & Ball Gowns hosted by East Texas CASA.
If you don't know what CASA is, I highly encourage you to click the link and go to their website and check out the amazing things they do for foster children in our community. Seriously, it's one of the most important jobs anyone could ever do.
This was my second year to attend this fundraiser and I feel like it was even better than last year. The event was held in Maude Cobb and, as any Longview native knows, the ligthing in that place is just awful. It's dark and the ceilings are way too high to bounce a flash. Not to metiontion the lighting changes throughout the dances so you can't really ever know what to expect.
Luckily for me, I've been shooting in wedding venues all over the country just like this for years - so other than it being a bit frustrating, it wasn't at all a hindrance to my work.
Again, if you haven't checked out East Texas CASA, please do and make it a point to buy your tickets for next years event!
