I’m not one for New Years resolutions. I’m more the type to start immediately. That’s the activator in me. I’m really GREAT at getting things started.
But this year it feels just wrong not to.
My general thought process about this past year has been - that 2020 was a big pile of dog shit. But to some degree, it wasn’t all bad. I got married to my amazing wife, we bought our first home, I moved my studio into our home, my wife started building a gym in the back, our kiddo is THRIVING in homeschool and I’ve come closer than ever before to some business goals I’ve had for as long as I can remember.
I was having a conversation with my wife just yesterday when we were making plans for sitting down and writing out some family goals for this year about how I want to see what I can do if I’m more consistent and persistent about being authentically myself and consistent with striving for that.
So to put it simply, this is a resolution without end. Not just for the new year, but from here on out.
Remember that as you are making your own resolutions to make sure that they are your own. Make sure that they aren’t society or anyone else’s resolutions, but those that truly reflect your authentic self.
