It's a special thing when someone asks you to be a part of their wedding as their photographer - it truly gives you an all-access pass to every part of a special day. But when two of your friends ask you to take their wedding photos? Nothing - absolutely nothing - is better
So when my friends Mel and Luis from Houston asked if I would take their wedding photos, my answer wasn't yes. It was more like me jumping up and down, yelling, "Yes, definitely, absolutely, 1000% yes!"
(I get a little excited about weddings. Especially for my friends.)
Mel and Luis had a traditional Catholic ceremony at Holy Rosary Church in Houston, TX on a beautiful April afternoon. Here's a first look at their getting ready and ceremony photos (and fair warning - there's a TON because I had a hard time narrowing them down) from their Houston wedding:

The Ceremony
I'll be sharing more photos of their bridal party and from the reception later this week!
